Resident Support Specialist

Purpose of the Role:
The Resident Relationship Manager role is designed to provide a single point of contact for residents living in Enfield Council Homes, offering guidance, support, and empowerment to help them navigate life's challenges. This role ensures that residents have access to a range of services and interventions to address complex issues, including mental health, domestic abuse, and financial hardship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide initial support to new social housing tenants to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities.
- Manage complex casework, specializing in people-related issues such as safeguarding, domestic abuse, and mental health.
- Work with residents to build shared understanding and goals, equipping them with tools and support to effect change.
- Make onward referrals to support the growth of residents' support networks and build resilience.
- Provide high-quality support to empower residents to plan, work towards, and achieve their outcomes.
- Work effectively individually and as part of a team to achieve service outcomes.
- Deliver a tenure-blind, wholesome people and place offer for residents, ensuring the needs of the wider community are met.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly, display respect at all times, and take ownership of matters to their conclusion. They will be part of a highly visible team working in the community, remotely, and via face-to-face contacts with residents.
