Customer Service Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Officer to join our friendly contact centre team. As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers by telephone or email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers by telephone or email.
  • Follow the correct call handling procedures within the Contact Centre to ensure the best service is maintained.
  • Ensure all telephone calls, emails, and letters are handled professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Identify and flag any issues of potential risk on individual cases to Fitness to Practice for further investigation.
  • Support contact centre colleagues by sharing information and experiences, developing checklists or aide memoire notes to help the team handle future queries more accurately and effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a busy and helpful contact centre environment with a caring and empathy approach.
  • Significant experience of handling high volumes of calls, preferably in a Contact Centre environment.
  • Active team player, demonstrating behaviours of helping colleagues, sharing information, identifying & solving process & efficiency issues.
  • A pro-active, "can do" approach to helping customers.
