Salary: £40,000 - £70,000

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations as per company guidelines.
  • Facilitate the execution of operational and project-related electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering tasks, including oversight of vendors and contractors.
  • Perform engineering assessments for new installations, site enhancements, and the decommissioning or replacement of Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) equipment.
  • Develop EC&I systems and their associated documentation utilizing standard software tools.
  • Create support documentation, training resources, and conduct training sessions for end users.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of EC&I equipment.
  • Implement software engineering practices across EC&I systems, including TBox Programming (Twinsoft), Pilz Programming (PNOZ Configurator), LOWIS, and various network device setups.
  • Program, repair, and install Rod Pump Off Controllers.
  • Utilize fault-finding techniques to diagnose issues within EC&I systems and equipment.
  • Responsible for executing maintenance and integrity tasks.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the role.
  • Familiarity with Oil & Gas operations and understanding of hazardous environments.
  • Proficient in engineering documentation, including block diagrams, PFDs, SLDs, P&IDs, C&E charts, schematics, wiring diagrams, data sheets, and safety-critical elements.
  • Experience in designing and implementing industrial systems.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting existing installations.
  • Knowledge of communication devices.
  • Experience with various SCADA platforms, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Basic understanding of programming, scripting, and SQL databases.
  • Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
