Job Overview:

This is a rewarding and challenging role that will give you the opportunity to support Governors and Trustees across a range of schools to deliver the best outcomes for their pupils. You will administer and minute board and committee meetings, which are mainly held in the evening, and advise on governance legislation and policy following appropriate training.

Key Responsibilities:

  3. Support Governors and Trustees across a range of schools
  4. Deliver the best outcomes for pupils
Requirements:

You must be able to work under your own initiative, manage deadlines and maintain accurate records. The ability to remain impartial, comply with data protection legislation and maintain confidentiality is essential. You will need access to the internet and a home computer with Microsoft Word (or a compatible application). The role is mostly home-based with the flexibility to complete clerking tasks around your existing commitments.

What We Offer:

We offer a comprehensive training programme, mentoring for your first few months in post and on-going support from the Clerking Team. The contract will be for approximately 136 hours per annum but once you are established in the role, there will be opportunities to greatly increase your working hours to make this a significant part-time post.

Location:

We currently have multiple posts available across all areas of Hampshire. We're especially keen to hear from applicants in the Basingstoke, East Hants and the Hart & Rushmoor areas.
