Childrens Residential Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide invaluable care and guidance to children and young people, helping them reach their full potential.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a close-knit team in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for supporting the daily needs of the children and young people, including meal preparation, laundry, and general housekeeping. You will also help organise and facilitate social activities, such as outings and community events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting the needs of the children and young people in line with OFSTED regulations
- Assisting with day-to-day tasks, including household chores and meal preparation
- Helping to plan and implement social activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants
- Working closely with the clinical team and local authorities to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A full UK driving licence is essential due to the location and nature of the work. While experience with children or health and social care is beneficial, it is not essential. We offer comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.
What We Offer:
- A competitive starting rate of £11.92 - £12.54 per hour, depending on qualifications
- An additional £30 sleep-in rate (average 2-3 sleep-ins per week)
