Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Primary Care

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled pharmacy technician to join our primary care team. As a pharmacy technician, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in providing excellent patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage MHRA alerts and actions, including leading the receipt and understanding of the alert, communicating with contacts, and completing all associated actions.
  • Run searches and decide on the appropriate course of action based on findings, communicating with contacts, and completing all associated actions.
  • Undertake clinical audits, support quality improvement measures, and contribute to the Quality and Outcomes Framework and enhanced services.

You will be responsible for managing Eclipse alerts, undertaking clinical audits, and contributing to the Quality and Outcomes Framework and enhanced services. Additionally, you will be required to provide training and support on the legal, safe, and secure handling of medicines, including the implementation of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).

Requirements:
  • Professional registration with GPhC
  • BTEC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences
  • Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
