About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead our Trauma and Orthopaedics service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on clinical pharmacy issues and offering professional pharmacy leadership in this area of care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service for patients in the Trauma and Orthopaedics department.
  2. Lead, develop, and deliver education and training in the pharmaceutical aspects of trauma and orthopaedics to other healthcare professionals.
  3. Work closely with senior staff to review and develop policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective handling of medications.
  4. Manage and train more junior rotational staff allocated to the Trauma and Orthopaedics department.
