Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a experienced dietitian to lead and develop our GastroSurgery Dietetic Team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop treatment plans for patients, including calculation of nutritional requirements and analysis of nutritional intakes using specialist IT systems.
  2. Provide specialist dietetic advice, treatment, and dietary counselling to patients in in-patient and out-patient clinic locations.
  3. Liaise with catering, nursing, and dietetic staff to ensure a satisfactory meal service for individual patients.
  4. Participate in health promotion activities and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a dietitian.
  • Possession of a valid DBS certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £42,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including:
