About the Role:
We offer a competitive salary of £96,990 - £107,154 per annum (pro-rata), plus a range of benefits including relocation expenses, career development opportunities, and a just and compassionate culture.
As a Pediatric Care Specialist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to babies, children, and young people across South West Essex. You will be expected to provide senior medical support and guidance to the team, work directly with patients and their families, and participate in the local Child Protection rota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with babies, children, and young people, and their families
- Participate in the local Child Protection rota
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies
Requirements:
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
- Mastery in the management of a broad range of physical health conditions in babies, children, and young people, including neurodevelopmental disorders
- Knowledge and training in Child safeguarding
- At least 4 years post graduate training including 2 years community paediatrics (or demonstrate equivalent experience and competences)
- Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training
