Community Development Manager

East Cambridgeshire District Council has an exciting opportunity for a Community Development Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
The Community Development Manager will support the development of the Council's new Local Plan by leading and project managing specific infrastructure projects, including transportation initiatives and community infrastructure projects. The post holder will also oversee the affordable housing programme in East Cambridgeshire and manage the Infrastructure and Strategic Housing team.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or at least 3-5 years' experience in project management and/or programme management on infrastructure and/or regeneration projects. The successful candidate will also have experience in handling consultation on infrastructure and/or regeneration projects and coordination and preparation of business plans and funding bids.
