East Cambridgeshire District Council is seeking a highly skilled Community Infrastructure Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering transport initiatives and community infrastructure projects identified in the Local Plan.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you have a degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or at least 3-5 years' experience in project management and/or programme management, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the development of the Council's new Local Plan
  • Project managing specific infrastructure projects and delivery of climate change and environment-related infrastructure projects within East Cambridgeshire
  • Managing the affordable housing programme in East Cambridgeshire, supporting Community Led Development initiatives where appropriate, and maintaining performance measures
  • Leading and managing the Infrastructure and Strategic Housing team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong project management and programme management skills
  • Experience in handling consultation on infrastructure and/or regeneration projects
  • Effective programme and project management, performance management, and policy skills
