Job Title: Acute Medicine Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Acute Medicine Specialist to join our team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Trust ST3+ Doctor to join our Acute Medical Team, covering AMU, Short Stay Unit, and Same Day Emergency Care. The successful applicant will have significant previous experience in acute medicine and be registered and licensed with the General Medical Council.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in acute medicine settings
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in educational and training activities to enhance professional development
  • Support the team in achieving quality and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Primary medical qualification
  • Full registration with the GMC
  • MRCP Part 1 and Part 2
  • ALS certification
  • Minimum of 4 years full-time post-graduate training in acute medicine
  • Experience in audit and quality improvement
