The RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products and equipment for our clients in the offshore, marine, naval, and aerospace industries. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and are manufactured to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products and equipment using Solidworks and other CAD software
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design for manufacturing and fabrication
- Develop and maintain product data management systems
- Contribute to the development of new product engineering and R&D projects
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3D mechanical design engineering experience using Solidworks
- Product data management software experience, such as Solidworks PDM
- 2D CAD experience using AutoCAD
- Design engineering experience in manufacturing and fabrication
- Engineering or mechanical qualification
