Job Description

Position

We're seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team and drive the end-to-end management of suppliers, including sourcing strategy, supplier sourcing and onboarding, supplier performance, and purchasing negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy to effectively manage portfolio risk and cost optimization.
  2. Lead the strategic design, implementation, and delivery of New Product Development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, to drive collaboration and mutual benefit.
  4. Analyse large data sets to inform management decision making and drive business growth.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in end-to-end supplier management in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage, present, and influence.
  3. Relevant professional qualification (CIPS) or demonstrable knowledge of key supply chain principles and methodologies.
  4. Fluency in SAP MRP is a bonus.
  5. Full UK driving license or ability to travel independently, with occasional national and international travel required.
