About the Position:

Care New England Health System is looking for a reliable and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our medical team. In this role, you will assist registered nurses with various patient care activities, including administering medications, performing vital sign measurements, and documenting patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, including injections and oral medications, as directed by the RN.
  • Perform vital sign measurements, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including charting vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Document patient information, including allergies, medical history, and current medications.
  • Support nursing staff with tasks such as preparing patients for exams, obtaining lab samples, and transporting patients to various areas of the hospital.

Requirements:

  • Vocational/technical training or equivalent experience
  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Basic computer skills and medical terminology knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year
