Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Family Nurturer. As a Childcare Provider with Focus Foster Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children and young people in your local community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in their own home, ensuring they have access to all necessary support and resources. This includes working closely with a wider team of professionals to fulfill care plans and provide regular updates on the child's progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide short- or long-term care for children in your own home
  • Fulfill care plans in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Transport children to nursery or school and build relationships with teachers and key staff
  • Support children to maintain relationships with birth family members and engage in activities that promote their interests

Requirements:
  • A spare bedroom available in your home
  • Aged 21 or above
  • Ability to drive or access reliable public transport links
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
