Caregiver Opportunity

We are an independent fostering agency dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young people by providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and achieve.
As a Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for looking after children in your own home on a short- or long-term basis, working closely with a team of professionals to fulfill their care plans.
You will transport children to nursery or school, build relationships with teachers and key staff, support contact with birth family members, and promote their interests and activities.
We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who have experience working with children and young people. Relevant professions include teaching, nursing, support work, and caring.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A spare bedroom available
- Be at least 21 years old
- An ability to drive or access good public transport links
- A commitment to training and professional development
In return, you can expect:
- A competitive fostering allowance of £25,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on location, experience, and qualifications
- Your own experienced social worker for regular support and supervision
- Ongoing comprehensive training package
- Regular social events with other foster carers and their families
- National Trust or English Heritage membership
