About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Spend Manager to join our team at Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch). As a key member of our Managed Spend Commercial Team, you will play a pivotal role in qualifying and pursuing Managed Spend deals for our most important customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the workflows to qualify and pursue managed spend opportunities, owning the deal desk and working closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Create and execute a proposal plan, securing leadership approval and working with customers and internal stakeholders across several EU countries.
  • Develop and prepare deal responses, win themes, technical discriminators, pricing, and other proposal content, working backwards from the voice of the customer to optimize existing processes and develop new scalable mechanisms.
  • Educate Customer Advisors on best practices to identify large-scale opportunities and navigate proposal management processes to produce winning proposals.
  • Build a library of approved and updated proposal content.

Requirements

  • Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications, as well as sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay processes and solutions, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience identifying trends and needs to improve large-scale technology deals.
  • Experience in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business.
