Head of Service Charge Operations

About the Role
The Head of Service Charge will form part of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This is a strategic and operational role that offers the opportunity to shape and improve processes, manage and motivate the Service Charge Team, and drive forward key projects across the business.
As the Head of Service Charge, you will be responsible for ensuring that all service charge budgets and accounts are prepared accurately, within CEM workflow timeframes and in accordance with current legislation, lease requirements, and industry practice. This includes managing the Transactional Service Charge Team, which encompasses Sales/Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions.
This role requires a strong people leader with excellent management skills, the ability to prioritise and work effectively with other senior colleagues to drive business forward. Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office, and advanced Excel skills are essential. Experience using software such as Qube Property Management System is highly desirable, but not essential.
The ideal candidate will hold the Property Institute's Level 3 qualification in Leasehold Management and demonstrate a clear understanding of leasehold management and Service Charge legislation.
