About the Role

As a key member of the Senior Management Team at Churchill Estates Management Ltd, you will play a vital role in shaping and improving processes within the Service Charge Team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward the team's performance, manage and motivate staff, and contribute to various projects across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate preparation of service charge budgets and accounts within CEM workflow timeframes and in accordance with current legislation, lease requirements, and industry practice.
  • Manage the Transactional Service Charge Team, including Sales/Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with external stakeholders, such as solicitors, banks, accountants, auditors, government bodies, suppliers, owners, and industry bodies relevant to the Service Charge function.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Finance function to share best practice and drive business growth.

About You

We are seeking a strong people leader with excellent management skills, highly motivated and organized, with the ability to prioritize and work with other senior colleagues to drive business success. You will need to have strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office, and advanced Excel skills. Experience using software such as Qube Property Management System would be a strong advantage, but not essential.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Property Institute's Level 3 qualification in Leasehold Management.
  • Demonstrable understanding of leasehold management and Service Charge legislation.
