About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our children's community team at Barts Health NHS Trust in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working with children and young people with developmental disabilities or other medical conditions affecting their occupational performance.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, providing specialist Occupational Therapy advice and input to children and young people. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in multi-disciplinary working, client-centered practice, and service development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services to children and young people with developmental disabilities or other medical conditions.
  • Provide advice and support to other professionals, educational staff, parents, and carers involved in addressing the occupational performance issues of children with a range of needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives to improve the health and well-being of children and young people.
