HR Advisor Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled HR Advisor to join our client's HR team in their venture, a rapidly growing, fast-paced organisation. This is a key role where you will play a crucial part in supporting the HR department's daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Advisory Services: Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR-related issues, including HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, screening CVs, arranging and carrying out interviews.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Support the onboarding and orientation processes for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, absence management, grievances, and disciplinary actions, in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • HR Engagement and Well-being: Assist in the development and implementation of HR engagement and well-being initiatives.
  • HR System Implementation: Support with the implementation of a new HR system.
  • Employee Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Compliance and Training: Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company's HR policies are up-to-date and legally compliant. Conduct training sessions and workshops on various HR topics to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the HR team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic HR projects.
Requirements:
  • Experience: You must have experience as an HR Advisor, ideally within a fast-paced blue-collar environment.
  • Qualifications: You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
