Counselling Specialist for Adolescent Girls

We are seeking a skilled Counselling Specialist to support our students and work collaboratively within the pastoral team at Timaru Girls' High School.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in counselling teenage girls and a natural ability to promote emotional and mental wellbeing among students and staff.
Key responsibilities will include creating and maintaining strong relationships with external support agencies and being a proactive, solution-focused counsellor.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is a lifelong learner, always seeking to improve themselves both personally and professionally.
The school is a state day and boarding school catering for girls from Year 9-13, with a strong focus on building healthy relationships with every student.
