Vacancy for Special Needs Teacher

A reputable special needs school in Manchester seeks a skilled and caring Special Needs Teacher to educate students with Complex Needs.

This is a long-term position, 8:30am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with an initial salary of £220/day, increasing after 12 weeks based on experience.

You will teach a class of students aged 11-16 with Autism, SLD and Complex Needs, using a tailored curriculum designed to prepare students for life beyond school and optimize their potential.

The school's modern facilities include sensory rooms, play areas, a swimming pool, outdoor spaces, and a student-run cafe.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • International police clearances (if required)
  • Permission to work in the UK
  • QTS or QTLS certification

This position is a fixed-term contract lasting until July 2025, with possible extension into the next academic year.
