Cell Engineering Professional

SRG invites applications for a Cell Engineering Professional to join our team in Cambridge, UK. This exciting opportunity allows a recent graduate in a biochemistry-related field to start their career in the industry with 0-2 years of experience.
The successful candidate will support R&D projects, collaborate with other groups to deliver solutions, and stay updated with academic literature. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering new mammalian expression hosts and vector systems.
- Engineering mammalian cell lines through random integration, targeted integration, and gene editing.
- Generating mammalian expression vectors using state-of-the-art assembly techniques.
- Characterizing edited cell lines with relevant assays and cell culture techniques.
You will work closely with other groups within R&D to deliver solutions or improvements in recombinant protein expression. We offer a competitive salary of £15,800 per year and a chance to grow your career in the biotechnology industry.
Candidate Requirements:- BSc/MSc Degree in Life Sciences/Science/Molecular Biology.
- Desirable: Practical experience in an industrial/academic setting.
- Essential: Good technical background in molecular biology and cell culture, strong technical skills, and good working knowledge of statistics.
