Job Title: Experienced Laboratory Professional - Chemistry

We are seeking a skilled laboratory professional with a background in chemistry to contribute their expertise in a research and development environment at Chesterford Research Park.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and preparation of polymer membranes, construction and assembly of electrochemical cells, testing and evaluation of electrochemical cells, and supporting the development of new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and preparation of polymer membranes
  • Construction and assembly of electrochemical cells (including mechanical work and light machining)
  • Testing and evaluation of electrochemical cells
  • Support the development of new projects
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety in the lab
  • Monitor and manage lab equipment, including calibration and maintenance
  • Collaborate with the technical team to optimize lab operations
