NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to lead our Community Therapy team in East Lothian. The successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the Occupational Therapy service, ensuring consistent operational management and provision of expert advice and education to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading and managing a team of Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality services and improve patient outcomes.
  2. Developing and maintaining links with local and national healthcare organizations to promote collaboration and best practice.
  3. Working closely with the Clinical Lead to deliver strategic and operational management of the OT service, including budget planning and resource allocation.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. As part of NHS Scotland's commitment to reducing working hours, the successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate occasional temporary adjustments to meet service needs.
