Job Summary
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products. This role is onsite at our Ware offices, 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Test completed assemblies for correct operation and functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and replace defective assembly components to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Investigate and diagnose faults in assembled products.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience in a production and assembly environment, preferably in the mechanical or electrical industry.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
- Good practical skills and manual dexterity, with the ability to work accurately and methodically.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on mechanical assembly and production.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on quality and safety standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
