Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Specialist Tutor to work with children at risk of, or who have been, permanently excluded from school. As a key member of our Day 6 Inclusion Pathways Team, your responsibilities will include conducting home visits, delivering 1:1 academic sessions, and assisting with the smooth transition of pupils into new educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting home visits and on-boarding assessments for pupils, ensuring their needs are fully understood before they are allocated a timetable.
- Delivering 1:1 academic support in the home or off-site locations, covering subjects such as English, Maths, and Personal Social Development (PSD).
- Supporting pupils with reintegration into mainstream education, including transport to and from alternative provisions or induction visits.
