Disability Support Specialist

We are seeking a Disability Support Specialist to join our team delivering Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service in Primary Care in Greater Manchester. The IPS Programme will support adults with a physical or mental health disability who are out of work to find, and sustain, employment.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for providing training and coaching for employment, early intervention to support health and wellbeing, and safe and sustainable business support.
The Disability Support Specialist will work closely with a range of stakeholders, including Local Authority, GMCA, Primary Care, and NHS Teams, user groups, training and employment schemes, local colleges, local employers, JCP, and other partner agencies.
The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
