We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Officer to support our Group Payroll Manager and work collaboratively with HR and Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing payroll for all companies within the Group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collating and processing overtime and other payroll data each month.
  • Managing annual pay reviews and handling starters, leavers, and pro-rata payments.
  • Performing payroll calculations, including statutory payments like SMP, SPP, and SSP.
  • Assisting with benefits payroll calculations, monthly reporting, and third-party payments.
  • Responding to employee and auditor queries on payroll, expenses, and benefits.
  • Keeping employee records up to date and supporting HR and Finance as needed.

Requirements include prior experience in payroll administration with knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation, strong numeracy skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. CIPP or similar payroll certification is desirable.

This role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
