Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Benefits Officer to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, managing benefits, and supporting the Group Payroll Manager in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • Process payroll for all companies within the group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage annual pay reviews, starters, leavers, and pro-rata payments.
  • Perform payroll calculations, including statutory payments like SMP, SPP, and SSP.
  • Assist with benefits payroll calculations, monthly reporting, and third-party payments.
  • Respond to employee and auditor queries on payroll, expenses, and benefits.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in payroll administration with knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation.
  • Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Good general education, with English and Maths GCSE at Level 4/C or above.
