A dynamic primary school in Northampton is searching for a skilled Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves working closely with the class teacher to provide individualised support to students, focusing on Maths and English interventions tailored to their needs.

  • Supporting students with SEN in a classroom setting.
  • Assisting with targeted learning activities, including Maths and English interventions.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement educational plans that meet the unique needs of each student.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A valid DBS certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a primary school environment.
  • A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 2 or higher.
  • Experience working with students who require additional support.

Estimated Salary Range: £24,000 - £29,000 per annum
