Job Description

We are seeking a Personalised Learning Coach to join our team. As an Education Support Specialist, you will provide one-to-one tuition to children and young people in a 1:1 setting, helping them achieve their desired learning outcomes. This role is ideal for qualified teachers or individuals confident in teaching English, Maths, or Science up to GCSE level who are looking for flexible work.

The SEN tutor will work with children and young people at their homes or a local area, providing face-to-face support and planning resources tailored to their individual needs. The goal is to develop their knowledge in Maths and English or educational learning through play, ensuring they stay engaged and can access the learning.

Key Requirements

  • Qualifications in teaching or equivalent experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, or Science up to GCSE level.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) or challenging behaviour.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Possession of a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
