\As a technology specialist engineering contractor, our client has secured a large data centre construction project near Cheltenham.
\We are looking for a local-based Mechanical Contract Manager with experience in Data Centre Construction projects.
\The project involves creating new space, replacing chillers, and installing large-scale mechanical equipment, including cooling, BMS, comms, and fire systems.
\This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major Main Contractor project in Gloucestershire, with great future prospects within the business.
\Job Summary
\We require a skilled Mechanical Contract Manager to lead our Data Centre Construction project team.
\The successful candidate will have experience working on similar projects, strong technical knowledge, and excellent leadership skills.
\Key Responsibilities

- Lead the project team to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.\
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.\
- Manage and coordinate the installation of mechanical equipment, including cooling, BMS, comms, and fire systems.\
- Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any potential issues or risks.\
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.\
