About the Opportunity

In this position, you will be responsible for teaching Humanities subjects to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. Your role is to support the department in developing effective teaching methods and pursuing the highest standards of student achievement.

  • Assess pupil progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare students for external examinations and qualifications.
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
Requirements
  1. A strong knowledge of the Humanities curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  2. A team player who contributes positively to the school community.
  3. An Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  4. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
