Morepeople 01780 is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the plant and equipment. Your primary focus will be on performing repairs, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
* Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production
* Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to prevent equipment failures
* Operate and maintain specialized equipment, such as Fork Lift Trucks and Elevated Working Platforms
* Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment-related issues

Requirements:

* 18th Edition in Electrical or equivalent
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
