You will work across our specialist rehabilitation and management facilities in Northamptonshire, providing assessment, intervention, and support to individuals with neurological conditions.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for communication and swallowing disorders, who is committed to delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on people's lives.
About the Role:- Provide expert assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement evidence-led therapy programmes, incorporating multidisciplinary working to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of clinical care and adhere to national guidelines for excellence.
- NAMED THERAPIST DUTIES: Ensure cohesive goal-setting, therapy coordination, and discharge planning.
- Participate in internal training and contribute to service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives.
- HCPC registration and previous experience in a neurorehabilitation setting.
- Essential skills in aphasia, cognitive communication disorder, dysarthria, apraxia, and dysphagia treatment.
- Dysphagia competency on the RCSLT framework at a specialist level.
- Able to motivate patients over short and long periods.
- Succesful candidates will undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- An estimated salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
