Transformation Project Manager

We're looking for a skilled Transformation Project Manager to join our team at PDSA, a leading charity dedicated to improving the lives of pets across the UK.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to lead our transformation projects and support our ongoing initiatives. As a key member of our PMO team, you'll be responsible for driving organisational change through effective project management.
You'll work closely with project teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with our strategic priorities. Your expertise will help us monitor project performance, provide insights, and report on progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
In this role, you'll also facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to drive successful outcomes. Additionally, you'll manage resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize project delivery and team performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement PMO methodologies, standards, and best practices to support project delivery and ensure consistency
- Collaborate with project teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
- Monitor project performance, providing insights and reporting to senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to drive successful outcomes
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize project delivery and team performance
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven experience in project management and PMO leadership, preferably within a transformation context
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in change management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement is desirable
