About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinator to join our dynamic team at RS Marine Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety Management
    • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with UK and EU legislative requirements.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
    • Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
  • Facilities Management
    • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including RS Marine Group HQ, RS Sailing, RS Electric Boats, RS Cowes, RS Sailing Midlands, and Cheetah Marine.
    • Manage contracts with external service providers related to facilities and utilities.
    • Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal facility condition.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Compile and maintain accurate records of health and safety activities, including risk assessments, inspections, and incident reports.
    • Provide regular reports to management on health and safety performance and trends.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the marine industry.
  • Strong understanding of UK and EU health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
