Aerospace & Defence Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Social Development Direct. This is a mid-senior level position that requires significant experience in business development or sales roles, ideally within the international development sector.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and win new opportunities for the company, working closely with technical team colleagues, finance, HR, and programmes teams.
- Lead on and be responsible for technical and commercial proposal development, including budget, for large bids.
- Use company resources and networks to identify and contract consultants, ensuring compliance requirements are in place.
- Support the continuous improvement of BD Team performance and contribute to the development of BD Team systems and processes.
- Significant experience in business development or sales roles, ideally within the international development sector.
- Ability to work closely with technical team colleagues, finance, HR, and programmes teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven track record of identifying and winning new business opportunities.
