About the Role

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Public Participation Facilitator to join their Public Participation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team to increase engagement with children and young people across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Powys.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with community groups and organisations, including those from seldom heard communities, to increase engagement and participation.
  • Support the implementation of the Public Participation Plan (2021-2025) and develop ways of involving and engaging children and young people around the work of the Trust.
  • Develop and deliver engagement strategies to key stakeholders and local communities, driving forward improvements in communication, active listening, and engagement.
  • Contribute to the wider activities of the Public Participation team, working on a range of projects across the Trust.
