Position Overview: As a Charity Engagement Specialist at Charity Link, you will be an integral part of our mission, representing esteemed charitable organizations across the UK.
Role Responsibilities: You will engage with the public at various high-traffic venues, events, and exhibitions, serving as the face of the charity. Your primary goal will be to encourage individuals to support our cause through regular monthly donations or lottery participation.
Key Skills Required:
- Exceptional communication abilities, enabling you to build rapport with potential supporters.
- A genuine enthusiasm for public interaction and the capacity to work independently.
- A valid driving license and personal vehicle for travel to different locations.
- A persuasive and engaging demeanor, thriving in diverse environments.
- A strong desire to advocate passionately for the charity you represent.
Work Schedule: Our Charity Engagement Specialists typically work from 10 AM to 6 PM, on a 40-hour weekly contract, which includes working five days a week with alternating Saturdays. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as peak engagement times often occur in the morning, during lunch, and in the late afternoon.
Employment Benefits: All specialists are employed on permanent contracts, ensuring a stable income along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

- Accommodation support for travel exceeding 75 miles from home
As a representative of the charity, you will engage with the public daily, and we are committed to recruiting individuals with the right skills and experience to help us achieve our goals. Compensation: The salary range for this position is between £8K and £25K, with the potential for uncapped discretionary bonuses, leading to an OTE of £45K or more.
