Job Title: Senior Human Resources Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Mativ. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a crucial role in supporting our leaders and employees in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support on complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives, collaborating with leaders to ensure smooth transitions and positive outcomes.
  • Influence, coach and develop managers in the use of policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  • Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment, ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
  • Support and guide managers in the performance appraisal process, providing tools and strategies to enhance employee performance.
  • Ensure all HR activities comply with current employment law and regulatory requirements, staying updated with any legislative changes.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified and a willingness to work towards level 7.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably supporting multiple sites and in a unionised manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years HR experience with a strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • English language is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs, with a focus on leadership development.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting organisational change initiatives.
  • Proven track record in managing a variety of employee relations cases, from investigations to resolution.
