We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at TalkTalk Telecom. As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will play a key role in providing timely, accurate legal support to the business, enabling us to meet our strategic priorities while maintaining compliance with law and regulation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure documents accurately reflect commercial decisions and enable the business to meet its strategic priorities, while at all times remaining consistent with legal and regulatory obligations.
  2. Get involved with wider commercial issues and help the business to achieve its strategic and fiscal objectives while maintaining its ethos as a value provider.
  3. Manage disputes and litigation in a commercial, cost-effective manner.
  4. Advise stakeholders on ad hoc legal matters and keep the Head of Legal and wider team informed at all times of important matters.
  5. Get involved in complex projects, including acquisitions, disposals, and corporate finance deals.
  6. Advise the marketing and commercial teams on ASA and marketing compliance and ensure that adverts are both compliant but commercially able to meet business objectives.

You will be expected to make difficult decisions under pressure and sensibly manage your workload by constantly prioritizing to reflect the changing needs of the business. You will also build strong relationships with senior management across the business and support their wider teams in delivering their objectives.
