The Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Home Manager to lead our team at Peel Gardens Residential and Nursing Home in Colne, Lancashire. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents, while also promoting a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, including staffing, resident care, and facilities management.
- Lead a team of care professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they are equipped to deliver excellent care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, ensuring open communication and transparency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid NMC Pin and a current driving licence, as well as access to your own vehicle.
- Prior experience in a nursing setting, along with strong operational management skills.
- An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £54,387.20 to £64,387.20 per annum, 25 days annual leave (rising to a maximum of 30 days) plus bank holidays, and comprehensive training and development opportunities. You will also have access to our contributory pension plan, matched up to 7%, as well as life assurance and enhanced parental leave schemes.
