Job Title: Energy Centre Engineer - Elevate Everywhere

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

As a key member of our team at Elevate Everywhere, the Energy Centre Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all our clients' Energy Centres. This will involve conducting repairs and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, such as water testing, to guarantee the site's equipment is available at all times, achieving a high level of efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all Quality Management and Compliance Documentation for Planned Preventative maintenance and reactive repair activities is accurate and complete.
  • Providing technical assistance to clients, while meeting both Quality Standards and HSE Objectives.
  • Adopting HSE Policies, Procedures, and Objectives.
  • Utilizing the remote monitoring system for each development, recording operational changes that impact the efficiency of the network.
  • Investigating the network via each riser/block to ensure the system is leak-free and identify residential properties that impact network efficiency.
  • Providing training and support to new employees.
  • Ensuring that all Energy Centres operate above a certain level of efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A high level of technical knowledge and expertise on various types of Energy Centres and knowledge of District Heating networks.
  • Mechanical bias with electrical knowledge in a similar environment.
  • Non-Domestic Gas or F-Gas qualification.
  • Understanding the cause and effects of inefficient Energy Centres and implementing changes to improve network efficiency.
  • Experience with heating systems - direct and indirect, Energy Centre processes, and supporting distribution systems.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Served a recognized apprenticeship and/or be qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 2 in Plumbing/HVAC with Electrical qualifications.
  • Experience working within Energy Centres and repairing various components.
  • Electrical qualification to the latest Edition of BS 7671 that allows you to work safely on single or 3-phase electrics.
  • Hot Water Systems or valid unvented hot water certification.
