Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Material Handling Specialist

Job Description: Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new field-based forklift service engineer to service their client base around the Birmingham and Coventry areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Servicing a client base around the Birmingham and Coventry areas
Servicing forklift trucks & other material handling equipment
Fixing other equipment to include plant hire
Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when servicing & repairing forklifts & other equipment
Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call

Requirements: The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential. The company are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, automotive/commercial vehicles or any other related sectors, provided you have strong hydraulics and pneumatics experience.

Benefits: Competitive salary (Up to £35,000 depending on experience), Overtime Opportunity - Paid time and a half, Company Van, 22 days Annual Leave (rising to 25 with each year served) + Bank Holidays

About the Company: The company are a rapidly growing provider of forklift trucks and various other material handling equipment including sweepers, pallet trucks, service contracts and storage systems. Running for 15 years, the company are highly respected in the West Midlands and have ambitious continued growth plans which will provide the successful engineer the opportunity to grow with the company
