Science Communication Industrial Placement

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Science Communication Industrial Placement. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team of scientists and engineers to promote our research and innovation to a wide range of audiences.
Key Responsibilities- Research and present our science through a range of written, verbal and visual channels.
- Support website and social media content creation and development.
- Develop case studies of staff and industrial work.
- Work with scientists and engineers to help deliver events.
- Support other communication team activities.
- Photography, videography and graphic design of promotional material.
- Currently enrolled on an undergraduate degree course and returning to university/studies to complete your undergraduate degree following the placement.
- Are required or have requested to take an industrial placement year.
- Have the right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the placement.
- Able to commence employment in summer 2025.
- GCSE English or equivalent.
- Keen interest in science and science communication.
- Excellent writing, presentation and organisational skills.
- Demonstrate good team working capabilities.
