Operations Director Opportunity

Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing and assembly business, is seeking an experienced Operations Director to drive growth and profitability.

Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the manufacturing, assembly, and supply chain systems and processes to meet the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management and control of site functions, including production, assembly, and supply chain optimization
  • Strategic planning and implementation to meet company objectives
  • Leadership and development of the site management team to ensure accountability and delivery of goals
  • Delivery of SIOP to enhance revenue and profitability performance
  • Development and enhancement of robust KPIs for better visibility and accountability

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in leading and managing industrial operations, including assembly, project engineering, lean manufacturing, and complex component supply chains
  • Demonstrable track record of success in an operations leadership role, ideally in an automotive or industrial manufacturing environment
  • Inspirational leadership with experience leading and taking multi-functional teams
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on accountability and performance delivery
  • Education to degree level, with a high-level management qualification and Lean Practitioner certification
